Spanakopita

Hearty cheese and spinach filled Spanakopita!

What we used:
  • One package of frozen spinach
  • Feta cheese
  • Mozzerella
  • Cream cheese
  • Filo dough
  • Seasonings to taste (try basil, garlic, cilantro and/or parsley)

How we did it:

  • Make mixture to taste and warm on the stove.
  • Using frozen filo dough, paint on melted butter.
  • Fill the edge of the dough and fold into triangles.
  • Line on baking sheet and cook.

Bonus:

  • You can use the remaining filo dough to make some danish. We choose raspberry jam and although slightly messy, it tasted delicious!
